RECCESSARY Trial Membership Terms of Service

By completing member registration, checking the box to agree to these terms, activating trial membership, and beginning to use the member services we provide, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the entire contents of these terms.

I. Definitions

1. Trial member means a user who has completed the RECCESSARY website registration process for a member account and thereby receives a free 14-day trial entitlement.
2. Trial period means a continuous period of 14 days from the date the trial membership is activated in the system; the actual start and end times shall be determined by system records.

II. Services

1. RECCESSARY is a knowledge and content platform providing news, features, analysis, viewpoints, and other content on new energy, green energy, carbon markets, sustainable development, and related topics. We use reasonable efforts within the scope of our knowledge to ensure accuracy of information but are not responsible for decisions, investments, or other conduct based on such information.
2. During the 14-day trial period, unless otherwise agreed in a contract, trial members enjoy the same member benefits as paying members.
3. We may add, adjust, modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the services, features, layouts, columns, article categories, member benefits, or partnership items as our operations require.

III. Registration and account management

1. You must register your member account using information that is truthful, correct, complete, and up to date.
2. You must keep your account credentials, password, and sign-in information secure and must not disclose them or allow any third party to use them.
3. Each member account is limited to use by a single natural person only and must not be shared, lent, transferred, leased, sold, or otherwise made available to any third party.
4. All actions performed after sign-in with your account and password are deemed to be your own acts, for which you are solely responsible.
5. If you discover unauthorized use, misappropriation, or other misuse of your account, you must notify us immediately.
6. If member information is false or misleading, impersonates another person, circumvents payment mechanisms, abuses trial eligibility, involves repeated or improper trial applications, shared accounts, unlawful conduct, or other violations of these terms, we may suspend, restrict, or terminate the member’s membership, trial benefits, and subscription benefits.

IV. Trial membership

1. Any member account that completes the RECCESSARY website registration process may receive a free 14-day trial membership.
2. During the trial period, unless otherwise agreed in a contract, trial members have the same benefits as paying members, in order to let users experience content access and member benefits available to paying members before they subscribe.
3. After the trial period ends, if the member does not complete a paid subscription or payment fails, the system will automatically revert the account to general membership and cease providing content access available to trial and paying members.
4. If a member selects a paid subscription plan during the trial period, unless we announce otherwise or a contract provides otherwise, actual payment and activation of the subscription period will occur only after the 14-day trial ends, according to the selected paid plan; selecting a paid plan during the trial will not trigger early charges or an early start of the paid subscription period.
5. If, after the trial ends, paid membership cannot continue due to an expired card, failed charge, abnormal payment verification, insufficient account balance, or other incomplete payment, paid membership will end and the account will revert to general membership.
6. Trial eligibility is limited per member account, registered email address, payment method, device, mobile phone number, or other reasonable criteria we specify. We may terminate, cancel, suspend, or restrict trial eligibility where we suspect duplicate registration, impersonation, trial abuse, payment circumvention, or other improper conduct. Although trial members have the same content access as paying members, use must comply with reasonable personal use. If a trial member views more than 120 articles in total within 8 hours or shows abnormally frequent sign-in behavior, we may determine that use is not good-faith experiential use and may terminate trial access immediately.
7. Trial membership is a free trial. Except where required by law, members may not demand extension of the trial, compensation, credits, or other relief because they did not read content, did not sign in, did not fully use trial benefits, because trial content changed, or because the trial period ended.

V. Activation, term, and use

1. Trial membership is effective from activation of the trial in the system until the trial period ends; paid membership is effective from completion of payment and system activation until the subscription period ends.
2. During the trial period, trial members have the same content viewing rights as paying members; during the subscription period, paying members may view the full member-only content we designate.
3. Members may not claim extension of use, fee credits, or compensation on grounds that they did not read all content, did not sign in, did not fully use benefits, or for other reasons attributable to the member.
4. If we detect abnormal sign-in, multi-person use, account sharing, batch scraping, crawler downloads, or other abnormal use, we may restrict sign-in, require verification, suspend service, or terminate membership.
5. If no actual charge has been completed during the trial, no paid subscription fee has been incurred and this section’s refund rules do not apply; the member may cancel a subsequent paid subscription or payment authorization through the system, and the account will revert to general membership when the trial ends.
