Viglacera Corporation, Vietnam's building materials giant, announced during a tree planting event on Feb. 15 that they will establish "Thuan Thanh Eco-Smart IP", a green smart industrial park in Bac Ninh Province, which aims to attract large enterprises to reduce carbon emissions and develop a sustainable economy.

Viglacera plans to invest 3 trillion Vietnamese dong (approximately USD 124 million) in Thuan Thanh Park, which covers an area of 262 hectares. It is strategically surrounded by 3 international airports such as Noi Bai, Cat Bi, and Van Don, as well as the ports of Dinh Vu in Hai Phong Province and Cai Lan in Quang Ninh Province.

Thuan Thanh Park is committed to use clean energy effectively, including utilizing energy-saving equipment, smart lighting, solar batteries, and optimization of renewable energy systems. Additionally, it employs smart application systems to manage water supply, such as automatic watering and rainwater collection for reuse, to reduce the environmental impact of enterprises. Furthermore, the park aims to achieve a minimum green area coverage of 60% to obtain green industrial zone certification.

Tran Anh Tuan, Chairman of Viglacera's Construction Investment Project Management Committee, stated that through these solutions, Thuan Thanh Park's value will not only benefit Thuan Thanh City but also further boost the investment and economic development of the whole Bac Ninh Province.

Thuan Thanh Park aims to invite investors focused on supporting industries, electronics, information technology, household goods, machinery equipment, and environmental protection industries.

Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of Bac Ninh Industrial Zones Authority, stated that the province has several industrial parks with sound technological and social infrastructure, able to attract large investments. Additionally, local governments provide stimulating measures to ensure substantial benefits for investors.

Thuan Thanh Park is Viglacera's fifth industrial park project in Bac Ninh Province. With a total development area of 1,200 hectares, Viglacera ranks among the top investment attractions in Bac Ninh Province, particularly for high-tech giants with substantial capital and low labor demand such as Hyosung, Samsung, and Amkor Technology all have strongholds in the industrial park developed by Viglacera.
