The Bezos Earth Fund, a philanthropy funded by Jeff Bezos in 2020 with a commitment of $10 billion to tackle climate change, announced on Jan 10 that a $1 million ideation prize to generate creative ideas and solutions to remove greenhouse gas emissions.
Bezos’ vision for the Earth Fund is to develop a global roadmap in collaboration with an ecosystem of players to outline the milestones necessary to remove about 10 gigatons every year by 2050.
