Spanish utility Iberdrola and Amazon have signed a PPA to develop large-scale renewable projects in collaboration.

The pair have agreed to partner on new wind and solar capacity by signing offtake agreements for projects in Europe, the US and Asia-Pacific.

The deals will help Amazon stay on path to power its operations with 100% renewable energy by 2025 – five years ahead of its original 2030 commitment.
