Indonesia power plant to use green ammonia, green hydrogen as fuel for the first time

The Java 9 and 10 Ultra-Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) power plant in Indonesia is preparing to become the first hybrid power plant to use green ammonia and green hydrogen in its production process to support net zero emissions.

PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT), the owner and operator of the two power plants, and South Korea's Doosan Enerbility signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding this during the ASEAN Business Roundtable Meeting on the 7th.
