NRPT Co., Ltd., a company within PTT's new business group, in collaboration with ION Energy Co., Ltd., is advancing its efforts in plant-based protein production through the utilization of solar energy.
With a capacity of 389.61 kWp and after successfully completing three months of system testing, it now yields an impressive daily output of 800 kWh of electricity.
This achievement marks a pioneering stride in sustainability, as it significantly contributes to a reduction of 27 tons of carbon emissions per month, while concurrently reducing electricity expenses by up to 30% leading to competitive advantage in production management. It also offers consumers accessible options for plant-based protein at reasonable prices, catering to the preferences of health- and environmentally-conscious individuals, serving their needs effectively.
