Singapore EMA, Shell launch first smart and clean energy service stations

The Singapore Energy Market Authority (EMA) has teamed up with Shell to launch Singapore's first smart green energy service stations. The project was developed by Eigen Energy, a local provider of renewable energy solutions, which received an innovation grant from the EMA and Shell in March 2021.

Three Shell service stations are located in Tampines, Pasir Ris and Lakeview (Upper Thomson Rd). The electricity for charging the electric vehicles (EVs) comes from solar panels on the station’s roof and other rooftops belonging to Shell across Singapore.
