Vietnam establishes agricultural carbon footprint monitoring system for the first time

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) of Vietnam and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) co-hosted a workshop on agricultural digitalization in Hanoi on the 17th to move towards green agriculture and sustainable development.

At the workshop, UNDP and MARD introduced for the first time the electronic traceability system model for tracing the origin and carbon footprint of each dragon fruit produced in Binh Thuan province.
