Japan Smart Energy Week 2026 was held in Tokyo from March 17 to 19, spotlighting the country’s push toward a more diversified energy mix. From energy storage and behind-the-meter applications driven by power market liberalization to hydrogen infrastructure and next generation technologies such as perovskite solar cells and rooftop solar, Japan is accelerating its energy transition. Taiwanese companies are moving quickly to seize the opportunity.
