Walking into WiSING’s shared office near Taipei Main Station, visitors are greeted by a spacious open workspace. Around the corner sits a dedicated fitness area equipped with exercise equipment and massage chairs provided by fitness equipment maker Johnson Health Tech.

The young startup traces its roots to an internal entrepreneurship program at Wistron and is the group’s first subsidiary dedicated to ESG related solutions. As sustainability disclosure requirements continue to expand, WiSING has developed an ESG management platform that integrates AI to help companies manage supply chain sustainability data more efficiently.

Why WiSING is betting on workforce well-being and supply chain ESG

“We built the platform to address companies’ growing ESG needs,” Tiffany Liao (廖秋婷), chief operating officer of WiSING, told RECCESSARY. “That mission has shaped the company from the very beginning.”

Unlock this interview to learn three key takeaways:

  1. WiSING focuses on workforce well-being and supply chain carbon management, helping large enterprises manage supplier networks that can easily exceed 1,000 companies through an AI platform that streamlines ESG data collection and management.

  2. The platform uses AI to verify the authenticity and validity of certificates and cross checks information against public government databases, helping companies identify questionable supplier data. In some cases, suppliers may give themselves high scores, yet fail to meet basic ESG requirements when independently reviewed.

  3. Questionnaire response rates have increased from 60% to over 90%, while processing time has been cut in half from three months. As ESG requirements tighten, WiSING expects its client base to grow fivefold this year.
