Clean energy technologies are gaining growing attention among ASEAN member states, with carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) and green hydrogen steadily advancing toward large-scale commercialization.
Experts believe that accelerating the deployment of such emerging technologies requires stronger policy push, regional cooperation, and blended financing mechanisms to help shape a more complete market supply-and-demand system.

At the five-day Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) that concluded on Oct. 31, a think-tank roundtable titled “Technology Pathways for Asia’s Energy Future” examined the opportunities and challenges for companies pursuing clean energy transitions across the region.
